Design, analyze, and model moderately complex organizational data to deliver business insights that drive strategy execution, operational accountability, and growth within a business area
Support initiatives to implement automated scorecards, AI enabled insights, and individual account scenario analysis tools that enable underwriters in planning and executing CNA’s global underwriting strategies
Partner closely with Underwriting and business leaders to translate objectives into actionable analytics, BI solutions, and performance metrics
Perform moderately complex analytical and statistical modeling to quantify business performance, evaluate operational changes, and support decision-making
Communicate findings and make recommendations to management
Design and build BI dashboards and reporting solutions that translate business objectives into meaningful metrics and support ongoing performance management and accountability

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or related field
Typically a minimum of four years of related work experience
Solid knowledge of core functions of a commercial insurance company, including underwriting, portfolio management, and operational drivers of profitability
Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and modern BI tooling, with awareness of version control and governed development practices
Demonstrated experience applying AI-enabled analytics tools and prompt-engineering techniques
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to effectively resolve moderately complex situations and issues; demonstrates a high level of attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team; effectively manages time and resources to accomplish multiple tasks and meet deadlines with urgency
