About the role

  • Leads the development and compliance of policies and procedures for the business
  • Understands the business needs and consults with business leaders in planning projects
  • Provides complex analysis and decision support to deliver on key business priorities
  • Collaborates with multiple disciplines to gather information and make recommendations
  • Responsible for defining process performance measures and advises operational reporting group
  • Develops and leads process-related training programs
  • Evaluates alternatives and external training
  • Responsible for building and maintaining centralized processing documentation
  • Acts as business project manager for large process improvement projects
  • Prepares operations, finance and statistical reports using relevant internal and external data

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent
  • Typically a minimum of seven years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and planning skills
  • Proven business process modeling and analysis skills
  • Proficiency to facilitate meetings of high complexity
  • In-depth knowledge of project management principles
  • Expert knowledge of change management principles and methods
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently with little or no direction
