About the role

  • Individual contributor leading technology architecture for User Experience and scalable Design System
  • Align business strategy with technology vision and influence senior leadership
  • Establish portfolio-level epic backlog and drive architectural advancement through enablers
  • Assess portfolio-level epics and define solution direction; create technical blueprints and guiding principles
  • Align portfolio architecture with enterprise architecture initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies
  • Improve architectural practices, manage technical debt, and create architectural standards
  • Maintain conceptual overview of portfolio including application inventory and risk scores
  • Support and coach System Architects; may perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • In-depth experience with user experience design and implementation
  • Experience delivering user experiences within the Insurance vertical (ideal)
  • Ability to create and steward a scalable design system
  • Familiarity with core architectural practices and principles
  • Ability to deconstruct business problems and define architectural solution direction
  • Strong communication, collaboration, consultative and leadership skills
  • Proficient in agile methodologies and enterprise architecture principles
  • Ability to design target state architectures using decoupled, event-based, API-enabled frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary technology and business trends
  • In-depth understanding of modern, accessible and compliant user experiences
  • Experience in design, product management or coding (able to bridge gaps)
  • Experience with strategies for organizing and building Design Systems (plus)
  • Familiarity with EA frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and SAFe Agile
  • Degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of nine years of diverse work experience in technology
  • Experience working as an Enterprise Architect, preferably at SAFe portfolio level
