About the role
- Assist the plant manager in supervising production, maintenance, and yard operations.
- Support scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management to meet production goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Train, coach, and evaluate plant staff to develop skills and maintain performance.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, minimizing downtime and waste.
- Collaborate with quality, EHS, and other departments to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain records of production, attendance, and operational performance.
- Serve as acting Plant Manager in their absence.
Requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations, safety standards, and quality systems.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing operational needs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
- High school diploma or GED required.
