About the role

  • Oversee customer’s freight through tracing and tracking
  • Maintain contact with airlines, trucking companies and agents handling the freight
  • Ensure service completion and provide proof of delivery
  • Manage customer support by handling daily customer service requests
  • Notify customers of any delays in shipping and dispatching points
  • Prepare and assist with quotes for customers
  • Enter shipment data in system and prepare rates and invoices
  • Process pick-up requests and enter data in the system

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two to three years related experience
  • Two to four years industry experience (preferred)
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and job specific software applications
  • Accurate typing and/or data entry skills
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic with U.S. currency, weight, volume and distance measurements
