About the role
- Oversee site operations, ensuring high level of service, profitability and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Manager and Director to support compliance initiatives.
- Conduct entry review and audits to ensure accuracy with U.S. Customs regulations.
- Monitor and implement updates to Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS).
- Review and approve Powers of Attorney (POAs) for customs brokers.
- Prepare and file Customs reconciliation entries for timely submissions.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and support internal compliance reporting.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners for proper classification and documentation of imported goods.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum five years related experience
- Minimum three years supervisory or managerial experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred or equivalent combination of work experience and education
- Three years of industry experience preferred
- Valid state issued Driver's License
- Forklift Driver Certification
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications
