About the role
- Oversee transportation and customs processes
- Provide customer service for shipment, receipt and documentation of products
- Develop customer service for internal and external customers
- Conduct meetings with staff to assess status and discuss improvements
- Review shipment documentation for accuracy
- Compute duties, tariffs, weight, and volumes of products
- Monitor team performance and client concerns
- Communicate with operations manager regarding progress and problems
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum four years related experience
- Minimum one-year supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred
- Working knowledge of ITAR, Import Brokerage, Export Compliance, Hazmat Regulations
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and job specific software applications
