About the role
- Assist in the processing of Maritime Product files: analysis and development of Ocean documents
- Assist in the coordination of operations between the different stakeholders: customers, partners, customs and administrations
- Ensure that operations are carried out in accordance with the quotes established in advance
- Ensure that the data in CargoWise (WIPs & ACCRUALs) is entered on time and complies with the requested operations
- Assist in resolving problems with customers and/or partners
- Receive transit orders sent by customers (rate already validated)
- Request missing documentation and more precise instructions from customers (if necessary)
- Inform the client of the progress of their files following agreement (daily, weekly, etc.)
- Alert management in the event of a problem (potential or proven)
- Control supplier invoices at the level of prices and scales applied
- Issue the delivery note, organize the delivery and collect the return delivery document
- Organizes the pre-invoicing of services: control of WIPs and ACCRUALs
- Identify and communicate on any malfunction encountered during the execution of operations
- Assist or handle customer/supplier disputes
Requirements
- Good mastery of the Ocean process
- Good knowledge of Logistics
- Good understanding of prices and scales applicable to goods
- Good knowledge of invoicing
- Be a good communicator
- Have a good relationship
- Typically require less than 1 year of experience in ocean services or operational area.
- Intermediate roles typically require at least three years of experience.
- More senior roles typically require at least five years of experience and at least two years of experience at the intermediate level.
- Basic to more advanced general knowledge of ocean operations and services.
- Basic analytical skills and good service orientation.
- Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction.
