About the role
- Lead and optimize ground and rail forwarding activities
- Manage day‑to‑day operations in and out of Porto
- Coordinate pick‑ups, linehaul, and last‑mile deliveries with carriers
- Monitor and manage the P&L of ground and rail forwarding activity
- Implement and maintain SOPs, KPIs, and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transport management, supply chain, or related field
- Several years’ experience in ground transport, rail logistics, or freight forwarding
- Strong knowledge of European road and rail transport, routing, Incoterms, and transport documentation
- Experience in managing or contributing to a business unit budget or P&L
