💰 $75,000 - $80,000 per year
About the role
- Oversee three key operational departments
- Partner closely with the Operations Manager
- Coach, mentor, and develop employees and team leads
- Lead staff meetings to review performance
- Address performance issues promptly
- Actively participate in employee retention efforts
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Review and validate shipping documentation
- Calculate duties, tariffs, conversions, and weights for international shipments
- Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous process improvements
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum four years related experience
- Minimum one year supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred or equivalent combination of work experience and education
- Three years of industry experience preferred
- Working knowledge of ITAR, Import Brokerage, Export Compliance, Hazmat Regulations and recordkeeping
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications
- Bilingual-Spanish-Preferred
