About the role
- Directs daily business activity and provides leadership for assigned personnel.
- Communicating with Resource Freight Planning, Inventory Management, Quality, Sales and branch management to resolve any production issues.
- Achieve performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization and quality exceed customer SLA’s while minimizing labor costs.
- Coach and mentor team leads on leadership skills such as communication, results, accountability, etc.
- Maintain all defined 6S standards.
- Responsible for managing the administrative tasks of validating Kronos punches and correcting missed punches.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum four years related experience
- Minimum one year supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Finance or related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of work experience and education
- Working knowledge of ITAR, Import Brokerage, Export Compliance, Hazmat Regulations and recordkeeping
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications
