About the role
- Lead the installation, configuration, testing, validation, and commissioning of automated fulfillment systems
- Collaborate closely with the Automation Implementation Manager, Solutions Design, and external vendors
- Conduct system validation and testing
- Provide technical expertise during the integration of automation systems
- Participate in cross-functional project meetings
- Identify and troubleshoot system issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Document system configurations and changes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics and distribution
- At least 5 years working directly with automation systems (e.g., AS/RS, GTP, AMRs, Cobots)
- Proven experience in the deployment and commissioning of automated fulfillment solutions
- In-depth knowledge of automation systems, including hardware and software integration
- Experience with WMS, WCS, WES, PLCs, and SCADA systems
