About the role

  • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for various software applications
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not adversely affect existing functionality
  • Review and analyze system specifications and user stories
  • Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues that automated tests might miss
  • Communicate test results and provide detailed reports on software quality
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of the QA process

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Manual Tester or similar role
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies
  • Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Azure Devops)
  • Familiarity with various types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, usability)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work
