About the role
- Oversee transportation and customs processes
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Address employee performance problems
- Review shipment documentation for accuracy
- Communicate with customs officials for release of incoming freight
- Establish policies and procedures for customs clearance operations
- Identify areas of concern in import and export processes
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum four years related experience
- Minimum one year supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred
- Working knowledge of ITAR, Import Brokerage, Export Compliance, Hazmat Regulations
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and job-specific software applications.
