About the role

  • Develop and implement efficient processes while coaching and managing the team
  • Ensure the team supports and guides customers in the effective use of CMA CGM’s digital quoting tools
  • Maintain quotations and commercial support for the assigned client portfolio
  • Encourage the team to make proactive sales calls
  • Maintain achievement of the team’s KPIs
  • Ensure the team contributes to effective dispute resolution
  • Coordinate closely with Trade / Pricing teams
  • Ensure the team proposes potential volumes to Internal and External Sales teams
  • Gather intelligence on competitors’ activities
  • Manage the team both directly and cross-functionally
  • Maintain regular contact with other functions

Requirements

  • All candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada (valid work permit, permanent resident status, or citizenship)
  • College diploma or equivalent (transportation courses/training is an asset)
  • 3 years’ experience in the maritime/shipping industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize urgent matters
  • Business acumen, strategic vision, and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based programs and computer systems
  • Bilingual in French and English required.
