About the role
- Define the strategic vision for the transport network (parcel and chartering) for the medium to long term (3–5 years) and translate it into concrete directions for the network.
- Anticipate changes in volumes, economic geography and customer expectations to continuously adapt the network architecture and investment priorities.
- Define the optimal network configuration.
- Deploy network design methods and tools and coordinate studies conducted with specialized consulting firms.
- Drive change with operational teams to ensure adoption of new network schemes and transport plans.
- Perform flow and performance analyses and derive continuous optimization action plans.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in parcel network design
- Expertise in flow engineering: flow analysis and modeling, transport optimization
- Proficiency with simulation and optimization tools
