About the role
- Responsibility for daily outbound/inbound operations (e.g., picking, packing, loading)
- Ensuring compliance with quality and performance metrics (KPIs, SLAs)
- Leading and motivating operational teams in a multi-shift environment
- Participating in budget planning and cost control for the area of responsibility
- Analyzing operational results and deriving improvement measures
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and client representatives
- Supporting implementation of LEAN and optimization projects
- Assisting in operational preparation and execution of seasonal peak periods
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in operational management of warehouse/shipping processes with leadership responsibility
- Solid knowledge of e-commerce logistics, workforce management and KPI management
- Experience with SAP R/3, WMS/ERP systems and strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Personal suitability for leading employees, combined with independent thinking and decision-making ability
- Hands-on mentality, team spirit, flexibility and organizational talent
- Forklift license is an advantage
- Very good English skills, German language skills spoken and written
