About the role

  • Independent, end-to-end handling of sea freight export shipments (LCL/FCL).
  • Handling buyer's consolidation shipments (coordinating multiple suppliers, consolidation, scheduling).
  • Booking capacity with shipping lines and NVOCCs.
  • Preparation, review and management of export and customs documentation (e.g., bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, export declarations).
  • Communication and close coordination with customers, shipping lines, agents, truckers and warehouses.
  • Shipment tracking including proactive tracking & tracing and status updates.
  • Ensuring compliance with customs, regulatory and dangerous goods requirements.
  • Data maintenance and documentation in the transport management system.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a forwarding and logistics services clerk or a comparable commercial qualification with a logistics focus.
  • 2–3 years' professional experience in sea freight export, ideally with LCL/FCL and buyer's consolidation.
  • Good knowledge of customs procedures (e.g., ATLAS, export declarations) and confident application of Incoterms.
  • Confident use of common freight forwarding / TMS systems and MS Office — experience with CargoWise is desirable/advantageous.
  • Good written and spoken English; additional foreign languages are a plus.
  • Strong service and customer orientation, good communication skills and organizational talent.
  • Structured, reliable and self-directed working style, and ability to work in a team.
