About the role
- Supervises and coordinates customs clearance activities in accordance with regulations
- Oversees daily operations of the department to ensure profitability and compliance
- Models and acts in accordance with company principles and core values
- Review and reconcile all management and financial reports for department
- Develop and maintain excellent service to internal and external customers
- Communicate with Customs and other Federal Agencies to ensure compliance
- Oversee the preparation of U.S. Customs Documentation
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 4 years related experience in Airfreight globally
- Knowledgeable in Export Administration, Department of Commerce, and Consularization regulations
- Knowledge of IATA, NATA, Free Trade Agreements, CTPAT, additional tariff requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
