💰 $155,000 - $185,000 per year
About the role
- Analyze insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions and providing coverage advice and recommendations;
- Conduct complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and draft memoranda;
- Draft and review pleadings, memos, briefs, discovery, motions with supporting briefs and other legal correspondence;
- Prepare formal correspondence to opposing counsel and other parties;
- Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations as required.
Requirements
- Excellent academic credentials;
- Admitted to practice in California;
- Admitted to other states (particularly TX, NY, WA, or CO) is an asset;
- Ideally 1-3 years of experience in complex insurance coverage litigation matters;
- Experience in commercial general liability is preferred;
- Federal court experience.
