About the role

  • You ensure the stable operation of our platform and make sure Kubernetes clusters, databases, and automation processes run reliably.
  • You act as the operational foundation for development and work closely with the team to ensure deployments are efficient, reproducible, and secure.
  • Operate and monitor our Kubernetes clusters in on-premise data centers
  • Support deployments, root cause analysis, and performance optimizations
  • Implement and operate automated deployments and GitOps processes
  • Automate recurring tasks using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
  • Operate and perform basic tuning of PostgreSQL databases
  • Contribute to monitoring, logging, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Support capacity and resource management
  • Act as the interface to development: gather requirements and provide feedback on deployments and processes
  • Bring an interest in AI topics and explore opportunities for automation or orchestration

Requirements

  • Experience operating Linux systems
  • Some hands-on exposure to Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD, or PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Knowledge of monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Team player with a willingness to learn new technologies
  • Interest in AI topics
  • Fluent German and good English skills
