About the role

  • Technical Program Manager to lead and manage company-wide initiatives and projects spanning multiple quarters and teams within Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Work cross functionally across product, engineering, security, technical operations, and more to build and execute on the overall strategy.
  • Collect requirements, set up deliverables, report progress, manage stakeholder expectations, and work with various functions to deliver success.
  • Partner with various product and engineering counterparts to determine available options, manage stakeholder expectations, and execute against the roadmap.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and accommodate teams dispersed across multiple time zones.
  • Process driven but remains flexible and iterative; brings people together as a team, and drives them towards success.
  • Based in the US; reporting into the Infrastructure Engineering organization.
  • Provide clear documentation for infrastructure deliverables, processes, and project plans, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and executives.

Requirements

  • Possess a working knowledge of data center infrastructure components like servers, storage, networking, connectivities, and their interdependencies to identify technical risks and potential roadblocks for programs.
  • Work with stakeholders to align on inputs for Infrastructure programs which includes alignment of deliverables.
  • Develop reports and dashboards for tracking and delivery of KPIs
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all members of teams, programs and senior leadership. Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide clear documentation for infrastructure deliverables (including status reports), processes, and project plans, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and executives. Desirable skills and knowledge:
  • BS+ in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5-10+ years experience in technical program management and a desire for continuous improvement
  • Proven track record of creating realistic project plans, managing dependencies, and overseeing execution to meet commitments and deliver with predictability
  • Excellent oral and written communication, proven track record of effective communication at various levels including executive level
  • Experience working with multiple time zones and multiple cross functional teams
  • Strong competency with Excel/Google Sheet, Smartsheet, Confluence, JIRA, and various development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Kaizen, Scrum, etc)
  • Servant leader who has successfully gained authority with peers by demonstrating empathy, providing support and motivating others
  • Comfortable managing tight deadlines, changing priorities, and ambiguity.
