About the role
- Technical Program Manager to lead and manage company-wide initiatives and projects spanning multiple quarters and teams within Infrastructure Engineering.
- Work cross functionally across product, engineering, security, technical operations, and more to build and execute on the overall strategy.
- Collect requirements, set up deliverables, report progress, manage stakeholder expectations, and work with various functions to deliver success.
- Partner with various product and engineering counterparts to determine available options, manage stakeholder expectations, and execute against the roadmap.
- Manage multiple stakeholders and accommodate teams dispersed across multiple time zones.
- Process driven but remains flexible and iterative; brings people together as a team, and drives them towards success.
- Based in the US; reporting into the Infrastructure Engineering organization.
- Provide clear documentation for infrastructure deliverables, processes, and project plans, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and executives.
Requirements
- Possess a working knowledge of data center infrastructure components like servers, storage, networking, connectivities, and their interdependencies to identify technical risks and potential roadblocks for programs.
- Work with stakeholders to align on inputs for Infrastructure programs which includes alignment of deliverables.
- Develop reports and dashboards for tracking and delivery of KPIs
- Ability to communicate effectively to all members of teams, programs and senior leadership. Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Provide clear documentation for infrastructure deliverables (including status reports), processes, and project plans, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and executives.
Desirable skills and knowledge:
- BS+ in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security or related field or equivalent experience
- 5-10+ years experience in technical program management and a desire for continuous improvement
- Proven track record of creating realistic project plans, managing dependencies, and overseeing execution to meet commitments and deliver with predictability
- Excellent oral and written communication, proven track record of effective communication at various levels including executive level
- Experience working with multiple time zones and multiple cross functional teams
- Strong competency with Excel/Google Sheet, Smartsheet, Confluence, JIRA, and various development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Kaizen, Scrum, etc)
- Servant leader who has successfully gained authority with peers by demonstrating empathy, providing support and motivating others
- Comfortable managing tight deadlines, changing priorities, and ambiguity.
