About the role

  • Create comprehensive pre, during, and post-event expectations for marketing and sales that align with the company’s goals and objectives
  • Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, including budgeting, venue selection, logistics, catering, audio-visual requirements, and post-event evaluations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align events with broader business objectives
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external partners
  • Lead and inspire a team of event professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support
  • Develop contingency plans for events and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks
  • Conduct post-event evaluations, analyze feedback, and derive insights for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Experience working across the enterprise with Marketing, Sales, Product and Engineering teams
  • Experience planning, managing and supporting events
  • Vendor management experience
  • Experience managing, monitoring and developing a budget
  • Strong experience working with and present to C-Level Executives
