About the role
- Bridge the gap between raw data and actionable insights
- Own the modeling layer and maintain scalable data models and curated datasets (primarily in Snowflake)
- Design and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows using tools like Matillion, SQL and Python
- Implement proactive validation and monitoring to ensure data quality
- Build business-friendly datasets that support self-service analytics
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Operations) to translate business needs into data products
- Contribute to standardization of key metrics and documentation to ensure clarity and alignment across teams
Requirements
- 3–5 years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data analytics roles
- Strong SQL skills, including CTEs, window functions, and query optimization
- Familiarity with Python for light data manipulation and integrations
- Experience working with modern data warehouses (Snowflake preferred) and orchestration tools
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Matillion, dbt, or other transformation layer tools (bonus)
- Familiarity with BI tools like Sigma or Tableau (bonus)
- Git version control experience (bonus)
