About the role
- Bridge the gap between raw data and actionable insights across the organization
- Own the modeling layer and maintain scalable, business-friendly data models (primarily in Snowflake)
- Design and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows using Matillion (or similar), SQL and Python
- Build curated datasets to support self-service analytics and faster decision-making
- Implement proactive validation and monitoring to ensure data quality, clarity, and consistency
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Operations) to translate business needs into data products
- Contribute to standardization of key metrics and documentation
Requirements
- 3–5 years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data analytics roles
- Strong SQL skills, including CTEs, window functions, and query optimization
- Familiarity with Python for light data manipulation and integrations
- Experience working with modern data warehouses (Snowflake preferred) and orchestration tools
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bonus: Experience with Matillion, dbt, or other transformation layer tools
- Bonus: Familiarity with BI tools like Sigma or Tableau
- Bonus: Git version control experience
