About the role

  • Design and develop new internal and client-facing systems and features to support the automated delivery of Clir’s renewable energy intelligence
  • Build and integrate AI-powered features and tools that enhance the productivity and experience for Clir’s customers
  • Maintain and improve the performance of existing analytics features
  • Collaborate with product management and team leadership to scope and size upcoming projects

Requirements

  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Highly experienced in backend software development, building and maintaining scalable, fault-tolerant SaaS products
  • Interested in or have experience in building AI-powered features and products, including integrating LLMs, ML models, or intelligent automation into production systems
  • Strong backend development skills with familiarity across the full stack
  • Familiarity with effective agile and software development practices
  • Bonus: Experience with any of: Python, Go, React, MySQL, Airflow, SCADA systems
  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Ability to write internal technical documentation
  • Experience working closely with product managers
