About the role

  • Carry out software installation, configuration of the laboratory systems, integration of the software into the laboratory workflow
  • Implement LIS implementation projects
  • Work with the project manager and follow his guidance and planning
  • Make proposals and identify technical risks, which you communicate to the project manager
  • Prepare your actions, as well as relevant documents, if applicable
  • Ensure that your work is properly and promptly documented in MIA
  • Deliver the project tasks assigned to you according to the project plan and budget to the satisfaction of our customers
  • Take full responsibility for all technical aspects of the tasks assigned to you
  • Keep the project manager constantly informed about the status of the tasks assigned to you
  • Undertake business trips to clients to support them on-site with project implementation
  • Manage and implement small projects or sub-projects
  • Carry out customer training
  • Internal and external interface between customer and development department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent
  • Alternatively IT Technical training and experience in medical laboratory processes.
  • Experience in the implementation of laboratory information systems.
  • Experience with laboratory processes and organisation
  • Knowledge of common IT applications
  • Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) or Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
  • Healthcare communication standards such as HL7, ASTM, IHE …
  • Operating systems, networking, virtualization
  • Fluency in Dutch, French and English
  • This role requires a working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and the ability to leverage them to improve processes and outcomes.
