About the role

  • The Pace Medical Director is an Internal Medicine Physician or Geriatrician working under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer.
  • This hybrid position has admin and clinical duties.
  • As a clinician, the Pace Medical Director provides primary medical care services to CSV PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly) participants, including health assessments, development of a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and evaluation of effectiveness of the plan of care.
  • During the admin time, the PACE medical director will collaborate with CSV staff and external stakeholders for the creation, planning, implementation, and monitoring of the Pace Program.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school as an M.D., or D.O
  • California Medical License
  • DEA Certificate
  • Current BLS certification through the AHA
  • Board Certification in respective specialty
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Must be able to stay credentialed at CSV and with affiliated organizations (when needed), in addition to local, state, and federal payors as needed by CSV.
