About the role
- Architect performant and reusable data models to scale Analytics across ClickUp.
- Design and implement scalable SQL transformations, frameworks, and governance practices to support data pipelines and models across the organization.
- Apply an ownership mentality to the datasets you're working with, deeply understanding the data and how it'll be used.
- Partner effectively with stakeholders across various departments to understand how they are leveraging data and help them design and implement data solutions to enable their work.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in Analytics, with at least 1 year as an Analytics Engineer.
- Proficient in SQL and data warehouse performance best practices.
- Experience contributing to a dbt project with engineering best practices (unit testing, data quality checks, reusable building blocks, etc...).
- Ability to diagnose data issues proactively and build trust in data across the organization.
- Proficiency in Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Proficiency with Metaplane or an equivalent data observability tool.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools like Cursor or Windsurf to level up your day to day work.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business (preferred).
- Experience with our data stack (preferred).
