About the role
- Define the course content strategy for ClickTech HUB, including topic prioritisation, format decisions, curriculum sequencing and quality standards
- Identify content gaps and learner needs, maintaining a prioritised course roadmap aligned to platform and commercial objectives
- Work with external creators, subject matter experts and your direct report to build a course library that drives learner engagement and platform retention
- Set the bar for educational quality across all course formats, from short-form lessons to structured programmes
- Define and maintain the overarching content strategy, mapping content types and channels to each stage of the funnel.
- Set quarterly content priorities aligned to commercial targets, working closely with the Marketing Director and Growth team
- Own the content pillar framework that guides all production decisions across teams, formats and channels
- Apply SEO best practices to inform content prioritisation, keyword targeting and on-page optimisation across the content mix
- Lead multi-format content production across blog, video, social, email, landing pages and in-app content
- Write, brief and quality-check output yourself where needed
- Manage the content calendar, freelancer relationships and production budgets
- Repurpose and distribute content efficiently across channels to maximise output without sacrificing quality
- Leverage creators in our Marketplace to produce courses, tools and promotional content
- Curate and package creator-led content into campaigns and brand education
- Build a robust customer review and social proof programme, working with Customer Success and Product to capture and amplify testimonials, case studies and reviews across all marketing channels
- Define and track core content KPIs including organic traffic, lead contribution, course completion rates and content-attributed conversion
- Use GA4, SEO tools and CMS data to make clear investment decisions
- Report directly to the CMO with actionable recommendations, not just numbers
- Line manage, setting clear briefs, reviewing output, running regular 1:1s and supporting their development
- Build and manage a reliable network of freelance writers, videographers and editors to scale production without scaling headcount prematurely
- Establish editorial workflows, style guidelines and production standards the whole team can operate to
- Work closely with Paid Media, Customer Growth, Product and UX to align content with user journeys and product experience
- Collaborate with Product and Education teams to integrate content into onboarding, challenges and in-product experiences
- Contribute to thought leadership activity that positions ClickTech as a leading voice in AI, entrepreneurship and growth
Requirements
- Proven experience in educational content, course creation or curriculum design, ideally within an EdTech, online learning or subscription platform -- this is the core requirement for the role
- 4-5+ years’ experience in Content Strategy, Course Creation, or editorial leadership roles.
- Demonstrated ability to build a full-funnel content strategy from scratch, not just inherit and execute one.
- Proven track record of using content to drive acquisition, engagement and retention in SaaS, EdTech, or subscription businesses.
- Strong creative and editorial judgement, with ability to lead multi-format content production (copy, video, social, educational).
- Deep understanding of full-funnel content strategy and its impact on growth metrics (CAC, LTV, conversion, engagement).
- Hands-on experience with Tracking tools Heap/Mouseflow, SEO tools, analytics platforms (e.g. GA4), and content ops workflows.
- Working knowledge of SEO principles and tools such as Ahrefs or Semrush, with the ability to apply them to content decisions without owning the technical programme
- Experience managing and scaling content teams and external creators.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging User-Generated Content (UGC) and external review platforms (e.g., Trustpilot,) as a core part of the acquisition and conversion strategy.
- Highly collaborative, data-informed, proactive and quality-obsessed.
- Bonus: Experience working with creator economy, online education, or AI-driven platforms.
