Functions as a primary resource for department chairmen, administrators, and regional hospital administration regarding the development of business intelligence tools
Coordinates with EBI Developers to identify data sourcing and apply business rules in the deployment of dashboards and other BI tools
Provides guidance to level I Analysts
Facilitate the creation of new operational indicators by identifying process improvement opportunities
Utilize computer skills to maintain complex reporting systems
Become an expert in at least two Cleveland Clinic subject matters
Serve as a technical resource in the analysis and evaluation of operations and financial functions
Interpret and present data analysis results
Document methods and interpretation of results for future reference
Create summary and detail reports for online dashboards and other platforms
Ensure the quality and data integrity of reports
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and two years of related experience OR High School Diploma/GED and six years of database development or analytical experience OR Associate’s Degree and four years of database development or analytical experience OR Master’s Degree and one year of experience
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Access, Excel and PowerPoint
Understanding of data warehousing and t-SQL Programming
Advanced Excel and Tableau experience as well as querying languages (example SQL) is preferred
Experience with professional clinical billing and/or familiarity with CPT
Experience with Business Objects and t-SQL Programming
