About the role
- Functions as a primary resource for department chairmen, administrators, and regional hospital administration regarding the development of business intelligence tools
- Coordinates with EBI Developers to identify data sourcing and apply business rules in the deployment of dashboards and other BI tools
- Provides guidance to level I Analysts
- Facilitate the creation of new operational indicators by identifying process improvement opportunities
- Utilize computer skills to maintain complex reporting systems
- Become an expert in at least two Cleveland Clinic subject matters
- Serve as a technical resource in the analysis and evaluation of operations and financial functions
- Interpret and present data analysis results
- Document methods and interpretation of results for future reference
- Create summary and detail reports for online dashboards and other platforms
- Ensure the quality and data integrity of reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and two years of related experience OR High School Diploma/GED and six years of database development or analytical experience OR Associate’s Degree and four years of database development or analytical experience OR Master’s Degree and one year of experience
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Access, Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of data warehousing and t-SQL Programming
- Advanced Excel and Tableau experience as well as querying languages (example SQL) is preferred
- Experience with professional clinical billing and/or familiarity with CPT
- Experience with Business Objects and t-SQL Programming
