About the role
- Provide informatics and systems support for pharmacy operations
- Partner closely with pharmacy operations teams, providers, nurses, IT/Epic support, and analytics partners
- Optimize workflows and enhance patient care through technology
- Build, maintain, and improve Epic functionality, supporting medication dispensing processes
- Troubleshoot system issues, and lead upgrades, testing, and implementations
- Deliver end-user support and training while driving continuous system improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Health Sciences, Healthcare Admin or related field
- 6 years of system implementation experience, including directing, planning and scheduling a major information system project OR High School Diploma / GED or equivalent and 9 years of experience OR Associate’s Degree and 7 years of experience
- For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date
- Understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts
- Understands principles of client/server configuration
- Excellent knowledge of messaging technology and project management skills
- Must have strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to work independently.
