About the role

  • Provide initial and ongoing training and support to clinicians for the adoption and optimal use of the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Utilize Epic tools and clinical workflows to deliver in-person and remote “at-the-elbow” assistance
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for new providers
  • Onboard new clinicians and provide ongoing guidance to existing staff
  • Collaborate with project teams on initiatives such as AI
  • Deliver high-level live help desk assistance
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in workflows and work with the ITD teams that design improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a multi-entity health care system OR Master’s Degree and two years of experience OR Associate’s Degree and five years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and seven years of experience
  • Experience typically supported by license in a medically related field such as nursing, pharmacy, medical technology or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
  • Strong clinical background and knowledge of patient care setting and clinical practice
  • ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date
