About the role
- Ensure that workstations and peripherals operate with optimal availability and reliability
- Clearly and consistently communicates all desktop technology operational directions established for the enterprise
- Consults on desktop applications and configurations to improve employee productivity
- Troubleshoots software, hardware, protocol and workstations
- Provides first and second level diagnostic Help Desk support for hardware, software, operating systems and peripherals
- Recommends, designs, builds and supports PC workstations
- Builds and maintains detailed workstation documentation
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months of information systems experience supporting small to mid-sized network (5-100)
- ITIL Foundations certification is required within six months of position start date
- Certification(s) in Microsoft desktop operating systems (95/98/NT/2000) preferred
