Responsible for organizing and scheduling the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of refrigerators and freezers
Maintains inventory and supplies by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; transferring items and inputting data
Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
Secures warehouse, equipment, and data from damage or theft
Local or regional travel required on an occasional basis
Assists in supervising drivers and warehouse staff to accommodate daily work load and keep employees on task
Operates/trains staff assisting in the operation of the forklift, baler and skid loader
Serves as back up for drivers, warehouse and office scheduling coordinator
Plays active role in safety committee and setting up employees with proper PPE
Requirements
3+ years relevant experience (Management/Supply Chain/Logistics strongly preferred)
1+ years people management experience
Safety & workers/comp proficiency required.
Physical Nature of the Job
Lifting heavy refrigerators using dollies, team lifts, or other methods
Work in all climates
Bending, crouching, kneeling
Driving
Are at least 21 years of age
Valid driver's license
