• ClassDojo is looking for people to join our virtual worlds platform team.
• Dojo Islands, our virtual playground, is being used by millions of kids in classrooms and at home.
• The world is procedurally generated and user customizable.
• Students use this in the classrooms to learn to work collaboratively to build on the island and teachers can use this to set up STEM activities for the kids to collaborate on.
• The virtual world is built using web technologies with the goal that it is performant and scalable on the low end devices used in schools or at home.
• As an engineer on the team, you will be bringing your expertise in one or more of the game subsystems like rendering, networking, avatars and performance engineering to help us deliver the highest quality game to our players.
• You would also be building gameplay functionality with a modular, systems first approach.
• You will bring your creativity in prototyping fun gameplay and game design ideas and once validated ship it to production with very high quality.

Senior Game Engine – Tools Engineer

Onboarding Specialist

• Oversee and project manage the district onboarding process.
• Ensure district projects are on track by collaborating cross-functionally with other stakeholders such as our technical implementation leads, training team, account executives, product, and support.
• Facilitate kickoff calls with new and returning district partners to deeply understand their goals, timelines, and stakeholders.
• Create an internal and external project plan that aligns to customer goals.
• Create a professional development plan and roll-out strategy that will drive towards high adoption and implementation milestones.
• Own all external and internal communication: project status updates, proactively identifying risks and issues, escalating early and often with all project team members and executive stakeholders as needed.
• Understand ClassDojo’s products and services and strategically educate and guide customers to get the most out of their experience with ClassDojo.
• Work with the broader Customer Success team to continuously build and iterate on efficient systems and processes.

District Onboarding Manager – Contract

Technical Customer Success

• Work with district IT teams from start to finish to ensure that from initial set-up to rollout of rostering with ClassDojo, allowing teachers and school leaders can seamlessly set up their school in ClassDojo
• Review data from districts and ensure it matches the needs and formatting of end customers
• Work with district IT stakeholders to investigate and correct any issues in the data received
• Collaborate closely with the your account team, district IT, and the customer support team, proactively sharing project status, elevating risks, and proposing solutions
• Maintain excellent documentation and update project status for internal team members across multiple implementation projects and timelines
• Execute a strong quality assurance processes

Technical Implementation Specialist – Contract

• Become an expert on ClassDojo’s flagship app and implementation guidance
• Lead live demos and discovery calls for interested schools
• Facilitate live virtual professional development sessions
• Lead personalized training and support conversations for school leaders
• Collect & analyze feedback from session participants

ClassDojo Implementation Specialist, Contract

Growth Marketing

• Set and own the strategy for new user acquisition across paid and unpaid channels, with an early focus on social and influencer partnerships
• Personally run growth experiments end to end—defining hypotheses, launching tests, analyzing results, and making scale/kill decisions
• Identify and validate new acquisition channels through scrappy, manual approaches first, then scale successful bets via agencies, tooling, and automation
• Establish clear success metrics and ROI thresholds to guide investment and prioritization
• Partner closely with Product and Creative and Product Marketing to test value propositions, landing experiences, and onboarding flows that improve conversion
• Build a durable experimentation and measurement framework that enables fast iteration across messaging, targeting, and funnel steps
• Leverage external resources and modern tools (including AI) to maximize impact without overbuilding internal teams
• Help shape the long-term growth marketing muscle at ClassDojo, with potential to take on people leadership as impact is proven

Growth Marketing Lead

Product Manager

• Diagnose the real constraints to revenue growth—whether conversion, activation, churn, or product experience—and prioritize the changes most likely to move the needle
• Own and improve the full Sparks funnel; be willing to redesign onboarding flows, paywalls, and core mechanics when needed, not just run incremental tests
• Ship at least one meaningful experiment per week, with clear hypotheses, instrumentation, and documented learnings
• Build and maintain a prioritized growth roadmap informed by funnel analysis, user research, and data—without relying on dedicated data science support
• Develop a deep understanding of why parents retain or cancel and translate those insights into product improvements
• Partner directly with engineering: write clear specs and work hands-on to get things shipped
• As Sparks begins experimenting with paid acquisition, help design the product loops that make paid channels ROI-positive

Product Manager, Revenue Growth

Customer Support

• Play a critical role in protecting user trust and ensuring privacy, safety, and compliance commitments
• Independently manage regulated privacy and safety workflows
• Investigate, solve, and respond to sensitive privacy- and safety-related user issues with care
• Manage and fulfill data subject requests and content reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Support incident response investigations, adhering to protocols
• Identify patterns and recurring risk themes, surfacing insights to teams
• Develop and maintain clear SOPs, templates, and documentation
• Identify opportunities for automation and improvement

Privacy & Trust Support Specialist

Payroll

• Oversee global payroll, including US and Canada semi-monthly and bi-weekly pay cycles
• Subject matter expert in payroll-related items, including various earnings codes, deductions, withholdings, taxation, and employee mobility; ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international tax laws, benefits, exempt and payroll reporting
• Develop and maintain payroll policies, calendars, controls, and process documentation
• Own accounting journal entries and reconciliations for payroll and related transactions/accounts
• Partner closely with the People Team to ensure all employee changes are implemented accurately and efficiently; respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner
• Manage the relationship with third party payroll/HRIS provider and consistently strive for ways to improve the payroll process and drive system automation
• Support ad hoc projects including financial statement audit, 401(k) audit, workers comp audit, insurance renewals, etc. Perform other duties and ad hoc requests as needed
