About the role
- Lead all fiscal management and financial administration aspects of project
- Ensure compliance with company financial policy
- Create supportive environment for finance team development
- Audit client billing and project ledger
- Manage accounts payable for vendor and subcontractor invoice processing
- Report any subcontractor payment issues
- Manage month-close process and financial closeout
- Assist with all internal and external audit requests
- Coordinate preparation of financial reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education or experience
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Supervisory/management of small team preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and company policies
- Ability to read and understand financial reports
- Analytic ability to review and assess financial data
- Apply critical thinking to manage through complex decisions
- Understand accounting implications of various contract terms
- High proficiency in financial system applications, SAP and Textura experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Self-motivated, adaptable and flexible
