About the role

  • Grow the Academia & Government portfolio through new sales and the expansion of existing business
  • Maintain customer relationships
  • Use internal and external resources to advance growth
  • Manage assigned territory and territory plan coordination
  • Work closely with product specialists, customer success, and renewal teams
  • Influence and motivate others in a matrixed sales organization
  • Focus on new and renewal business
  • Create and nurture relationships with influencers/decision makers
  • Manage full portfolio forecast (renewals and new business)
  • Ensure client satisfaction
  • Provide support and information to sales leadership
  • Participate in training and learning opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • 3+ years in content/technology sales
  • Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar CRM)
  • Knowledge of Clarivate business, clients, and products
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to assess the sales process
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate, and draw meaningful conclusions from data
  • Working knowledge of formal sales methodologies
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization
