About the role
- Generate and qualify leads
- Expand our underrepresented presence in an established market
- Grow revenue from both packaged service offerings and core service areas
- Prospecting, qualifying, and closing new opportunities with former, current, and prospective clients
- Work alongside our President & CEO and Director of Strategy as part of our BizDev team
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience working in or selling to the K-12 education industry, with at least 3 years in consultative B2B sales, business development, or outbound sales in professional services or edtech
- A demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation and revenue goals
- Deep knowledge of the K-12 edtech vendor landscape, including major players, market trends, and buyer behavior
- Established professional networks within the K-12 edtech space
- Experience managing long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for proposals, presentations, and relationship-building
- Experience with CRM tools and outbound prospecting across multiple channels
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications is preferred but not required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
