About the role
- Play an active role in supporting key accounts, developing and executing integrated communication and content strategies that achieve client objectives.
- Identify timely and relevant media trends to align key clients with newsmaking moments.
- Cultivate and leverage media relationships to secure top-tier coverage, adapting strategies to maximize impact.
- Own and drive client projects across various tactics (including PR, content, social media, and events.)
- Develop compelling client brand materials (including media pitches, press releases, social media content) that resonate with target audiences.
- Guide junior staff and help foster our inclusive and collaborative environment.
- Contribute to new business development through helping with research, proposal preparation, and pitches.
- Stay abreast of core client industry trends (particularly fintech, healthtech and enterprise/SaaS tech).
- Contribute innovative ideas to improve programs and processes, demonstrating initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
Requirements
- A track record of success in an in-house communications team or tech communications agency setting
- A self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a focus on accountability and excellence.
- A hunger to grow your media network in NYC and attend mediacentric events as a representative of Clarity
- An understanding of multi-channel content and communications programs that build brand awareness and affinity.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
