About the role

  • Quality Assurance Tester must be analytical problem solvers with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starters, detail oriented, and able to quickly learn and apply new knowledge in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
  • Work closely with QA Leads and Product Managers to verify requirements and ensure deliverables are developed to specs
  • Responsible for test execution, issue identification, and verification of defect remediation
  • Read and understand business requirements including User Stories and Design Phase (including UI/UX standards)
  • Develop test cases based on documentation provided
  • Isolate, reproduce, track defects and verify fixes
  • Execute test cases within specified timelines; conduct regression and smoke-testing
  • Provide documentation of test results and output
  • Participate in team activities such as requirements gathering, scrums, backlog grooming and application demos
  • Navigate multiple systems/applications simultaneously
  • Create test cases using Azure DevOps and contribute to test automation infrastructure
  • Document test data, analyze test results, and recommend refinements
  • Utilize and promote QA best practices across functions

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge in the use of SDLC and agile methodologies
  • 2+ years of relative experience
  • Ability to write and execute test cases and report bugs in Azure DevOps
  • Ability to execute all testing types (ex. Functional, SIT) in Azure DevOps
  • Automated testing experience a plus
  • API Testing
  • ALM, JIRA, TFS and Azure DevOps is a plus
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Team Player and Positive Attitude
  • Knowledge of automation scripting using software (Katalon, Mabl, GIT)
  • Thorough understanding of QA processes, specifically Agile structure (EPIC, User Stories, tasks)
