About the role

  • Support the development of communications products highlighting the FoPA Workstream's impact (social media content, impact stories, blog posts, audio-visuals, infographics, reports)
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns
  • Liaise with regional and grassroots partners to amplify their stories and initiatives
  • Design PowerPoint presentations aligned with CIVICUS branding and review branding guidelines
  • Coordinate with CIVICUS Communication Cluster to publish materials
  • Assist in designing and delivering cross-cluster learning sessions and webinars
  • Foster a learning community among partners, facilitate knowledge-sharing and exchanges
  • Develop learning products and resources (manuals, toolkits, guides)
  • Collect and analyze feedback from training sessions
  • Monitor and evaluate learning programs, including data collection and reporting
  • Collate and summarize learnings and facilitate exchanges
  • Ensure learning products are widely shared

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in communications, development, journalism, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience designing and delivering learning and collaborative action initiatives
  • Proficiency with digital communication tools, including social media, content management systems, and graphic design software
  • Demonstrated working interest in non-profit organizations, charitable networks, and/or public service institutions
  • Demonstrated fluency in English
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team
  • Desirable: working knowledge of Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian or French
  • Experience with advanced Graphic design/Photoshop and audio/video editing software
