About the role
- - Lead the end‑to‑end bid function for major public‑sector tenders and strategic opportunities, ensuring high‑quality, competitive submissions.
- - Provide strong leadership to the Bids & Presales team, driving performance, developing capability, and embedding best‑practice processes.
- - Act as a strategic partner to Sales, guiding discovery, solution shaping, and the articulation of clear, value‑led propositions.
- - Own and evolve scalable presales processes that ensure consistency, quality, and operational excellence across all activity.
- - Work closely with Sales, Product, and Delivery to craft compelling, customer‑centric proposals aligned to our GovTech vision.
- - Translate complex technical solutions into clear, commercially resonant narratives that differentiate our offering.
- - Use data and insights to refine messaging, improve win rates, and inform strategic decision‑making.
- - Ensure robust governance, compliance, and quality standards across all bids and presales outputs.
- - Oversee the development and maintenance of a central content library, including case studies and reusable assets.
Requirements
- - An experienced leader who fosters a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams and functions
- - Deep understanding of UK public sector procurement processes, governance, and decision making structures
- - Highly logical and process oriented, with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
- - Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to evaluate and optimise performance
- - Active listener and trusted advisor, skilled at uncovering real needs and aligning solutions with public sector priorities
- - Astrong grasp of the challenges facing public sector and a commitment to driving meaningful transformation
- - Strong background in change management, driving transformation across teams and processes
- - Demonstrated ability to lead and manage support functions aligned with sales and change initiatives
