About the role

  • Own supplier success & revenue retention
  • Ensure suppliers see clear ROI through pipeline generation and contract wins
  • Own retention (GRR) and expansion (NRR), with revenue growth as the output.
  • Build and manage supplier relationships
  • Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers on Civic Marketplace
  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with founders, sales leaders, and GTM teams
  • Guide suppliers on how to position their offerings for public sector buyers
  • Drive supplier performance on the platform
  • Help suppliers improve their profiles, offerings, and responsiveness
  • Advise on best practices for RFQs, shortlists, and cooperative contract positioning
  • Proactively identify ways to increase supplier visibility and win rates
  • Lead strategic reviews & insights
  • Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to assess performance and growth opportunities
  • Provide data-driven insights on buyer behavior, demand trends, and procurement patterns
  • Align supplier strategies with Civic Marketplace’s evolving product and marketplace dynamics
  • Partner cross-functionally
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Partnerships teams to improve supplier experience
  • Feed supplier insights into product development (e.g., onboarding, search, RFQ flows)
  • Support go-to-market initiatives that drive supplier acquisition and engagement

Requirements

  • 2–4 years in Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales
  • Proven track record of driving renewals, expansions, or revenue growth
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or marketplace businesses is a strong plus.
  • You think beyond “support” and focus on measurable success (revenue, pipeline, adoption)
  • You can translate product capabilities into business outcomes.
  • Comfortable identifying upsell opportunities and driving conversations around value.
  • Able to balance relationship-building with revenue ownership.
  • Highly proactive and execution-oriented
  • Interest in public sector or marketplaces
