About the role
- Own supplier success & revenue retention
- Ensure suppliers see clear ROI through pipeline generation and contract wins
- Own retention (GRR) and expansion (NRR), with revenue growth as the output.
- Build and manage supplier relationships
- Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers on Civic Marketplace
- Develop strong, trust-based relationships with founders, sales leaders, and GTM teams
- Guide suppliers on how to position their offerings for public sector buyers
- Drive supplier performance on the platform
- Help suppliers improve their profiles, offerings, and responsiveness
- Advise on best practices for RFQs, shortlists, and cooperative contract positioning
- Proactively identify ways to increase supplier visibility and win rates
- Lead strategic reviews & insights
- Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to assess performance and growth opportunities
- Provide data-driven insights on buyer behavior, demand trends, and procurement patterns
- Align supplier strategies with Civic Marketplace’s evolving product and marketplace dynamics
- Partner cross-functionally
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Partnerships teams to improve supplier experience
- Feed supplier insights into product development (e.g., onboarding, search, RFQ flows)
- Support go-to-market initiatives that drive supplier acquisition and engagement
Requirements
- 2–4 years in Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales
- Proven track record of driving renewals, expansions, or revenue growth
- Experience in B2B SaaS or marketplace businesses is a strong plus.
- You think beyond “support” and focus on measurable success (revenue, pipeline, adoption)
- You can translate product capabilities into business outcomes.
- Comfortable identifying upsell opportunities and driving conversations around value.
- Able to balance relationship-building with revenue ownership.
- Highly proactive and execution-oriented
- Interest in public sector or marketplaces
