About the role
- Lead and support the planning and implementation of energy driven capital projects
- Conduct comprehensive energy assessments and assist in planning capital program
- Conduct analysis of energy data and prioritize energy efficiency projects
- Liaise with Division staff, other City Divisions, and community groups
- Prepare RFPs, tender documents, and manage contracts
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Building Science or equivalent
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario
- PMP, CEM, CMVP and/or LEED credentials are an asset
- Extensive experience managing large scale electrical and energy efficiency projects
- Extensive experience interpreting electrical distribution drawings
- Extensive experience preparing capital cost estimates and technical reports
- In-depth knowledge of energy conservation and demand management strategies
- Familiar with relevant policies, codes, and legislation
