Lead and support the planning and implementation of energy driven capital projects
Conduct comprehensive energy assessments and assist in planning capital program
Conduct analysis of energy data and prioritize energy efficiency projects
Liaise with Division staff, other City Divisions, and community groups
Prepare RFPs, tender documents, and manage contracts

Requirements

Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Building Science or equivalent
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario
PMP, CEM, CMVP and/or LEED credentials are an asset
Extensive experience managing large scale electrical and energy efficiency projects
Extensive experience interpreting electrical distribution drawings
Extensive experience preparing capital cost estimates and technical reports
In-depth knowledge of energy conservation and demand management strategies
Familiar with relevant policies, codes, and legislation
