About the role
- Cultural and heritage programs are responsible for multidisciplinary arts centres, heritage and museum facilities and structures, and for implementing programming and public events in the arts, heritage and museums.
- The incumbent oversees the administration of service and rental contracts.
- Performs program reconciliation and contributes to the growth of the theatre/arts centre through research and analysis.
- This position is primarily finance-focused.
Requirements
- Two-year college diploma in business administration, arts administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a related field, preferably in theatre.
- Knowledge of report writing, research methods, and database management.
- Knowledge of CLASS, SAP, and ticketing software is an asset.
- Superior written communication skills; ability to organize and convey ideas and information (both verbally and in writing) and ability to analyze statistics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer service orientation.
- Willingness to work a variable schedule as needed, including evenings and weekends.
