About the role
- Provides administrative and office support to program staff by performing word processing and typing, data entry, and filing tasks.
- Compiles and provides information related to program documents and reports.
- Maintains inventory as part of program operations.
- Acts as a liaison with internal staff, external stakeholders and members of the public.
- Organizes meetings and responds to inquiries and complaints.
Requirements
- High school diploma (Grade 12) and one year of post-secondary training in office administration, computer studies or a related field.
- At least 2 years of related office/administrative experience.
- Knowledge of City policies and procedures, including corporate and departmental guidelines.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with clients, the public, peers and supervisors, both verbally and in writing.
