About the role

  • Lead the build, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS)
  • Serve as the primary resource for CTMS updates, enhancements, modifications, and system support
  • Oversee system security, user access, and compliance monitoring
  • Partner with Information Systems to identify system integrations and assess feasibility
  • Validate initial study builds and ensure consistent utilization of all system modules (study setup, calendars, data collection, budgeting)
  • Collaborate with Research Finance on the financial components of the CTMS
  • Develop CTMS workflows to support recruitment, data management, billing compliance, and study oversight
  • Create and maintain policies, procedures, and standard work instructions for CTMS use
  • Generate accurate and timely reports on study activity, metrics, and financials
  • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle and Finance teams to support financial reporting and reconciliation
  • Provide end-user training and troubleshooting as the internal CTMS subject-matter expert

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Life Sciences or IT preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical research
  • Experience in an oncology research setting preferred
  • Experience working with multiple CTMS or clinical operations software systems
  • System programming experience a plus
