About the role
- Lead the build, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS)
- Serve as the primary resource for CTMS updates, enhancements, modifications, and system support
- Oversee system security, user access, and compliance monitoring
- Partner with Information Systems to identify system integrations and assess feasibility
- Validate initial study builds and ensure consistent utilization of all system modules (study setup, calendars, data collection, budgeting)
- Collaborate with Research Finance on the financial components of the CTMS
- Develop CTMS workflows to support recruitment, data management, billing compliance, and study oversight
- Create and maintain policies, procedures, and standard work instructions for CTMS use
- Generate accurate and timely reports on study activity, metrics, and financials
- Collaborate with Revenue Cycle and Finance teams to support financial reporting and reconciliation
- Provide end-user training and troubleshooting as the internal CTMS subject-matter expert
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (Life Sciences or IT preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical research
- Experience in an oncology research setting preferred
- Experience working with multiple CTMS or clinical operations software systems
- System programming experience a plus
