About the role
- Responsible for review and approval of complex development applications and projects
- Provide mentorship and guidance in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Ensure infrastructure is designed according to guidelines with minimal disruption
- Develop quality services in a timely, cost-effective manner
- Track financial and servicing data related to development projects
Requirements
- University degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario
- Minimum of eight years of relevant work experience
- Extensive knowledge of municipal infrastructure design and construction principles
- Knowledge of the Planning Act and municipal service extensions
- Class 'G' Driver’s License required
