About the role
- Report to the Project Manager – Sustainable Mobility Planning
- Deliver, maintain and monitor all programs related to Sustainable Mobility
- Implement strategies to improve effectiveness and efficiency of programs
- Undertake research reports, policy briefs, presentations, and sustainable mobility analysis
- Coordinate activities and programs related to the Active and Sustainable School Travel Program
- Support the delivery of Sustainable Mobility events, education programs, and training
- Prepare and submit grant applications and manage consultants as required
- Ensure balanced service/cost/quality compliance with guidelines
Requirements
- Proven demonstrated knowledge of sustainable mobility and transportation planning
- Considerable experience working in the Sustainable Mobility and Transportation Demand Management field
- Knowledge of engineering, planning and project management theories
- Highly effective leadership, facilitation, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary staff in a results-oriented environment
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Access, Project, and graphic design programs
- Ability to deal effectively with representatives of government and the general public
- Possession of a Class G Driver’s license is beneficial, but not required.
