About the role

  • Report to the Project Manager – Sustainable Mobility Planning
  • Deliver, maintain and monitor all programs related to Sustainable Mobility
  • Implement strategies to improve effectiveness and efficiency of programs
  • Undertake research reports, policy briefs, presentations, and sustainable mobility analysis
  • Coordinate activities and programs related to the Active and Sustainable School Travel Program
  • Support the delivery of Sustainable Mobility events, education programs, and training
  • Prepare and submit grant applications and manage consultants as required
  • Ensure balanced service/cost/quality compliance with guidelines

Requirements

  • Proven demonstrated knowledge of sustainable mobility and transportation planning
  • Considerable experience working in the Sustainable Mobility and Transportation Demand Management field
  • Knowledge of engineering, planning and project management theories
  • Highly effective leadership, facilitation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary staff in a results-oriented environment
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Access, Project, and graphic design programs
  • Ability to deal effectively with representatives of government and the general public
  • Possession of a Class G Driver’s license is beneficial, but not required.
